Tour of the monuments
Chiesa di San Pietro Extramuros
This church is one of the oldest and most prestigious examples of Romanesque architecture, and is located in the countryside, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. It is approx 1mile from our hotel and can be easily accessed by car, boat or by foot.
Cattedrale
This place of worship dates back to the twelfth century and is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary Immaculate, although it did not have this title when it was first built. Only with time did the Church become an important reference point for the community, and was chosen as the site of the new cathedral. Over the centuries there has been a series of renovations and restorations that have radically changed its appearance and the interior displays paintings by Emilio Scherer from the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.
Corso Vittorio Emanuele II
Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the most important street in Bosa. It is paved with pebbles and slabs of basalt and it weaves its way through many prestigious buildings, including the previous palace residence of the noble bourgeoisie Don Carlo, and the palace Uras-Chelo now known as Casa Deriu.
